THE PATH OF THE HEART

ANCESTRAL MEDICINE NIGHT CEREMONY
& Shamanic states of Presence and Perception
Camargue, 12-13-14 OCTOBER 2019

Ancestral Medicine Night Ceremony + Workshop: Shamanic States of Presence & Perception

A night ceremony with the Divine and Spirit of a Sacred Plant, just before the full moon, is unforgettable: the Spirit of Huachuma, or the San Pedro Cactus will guide you long after the sounds of the drum and sacred songs have faded.

The purpose of ancestral medicine is to heal all ailments, physical, mental and spiritual, to create lives of meaning and true connection, joy and happiness. The San Pedro cactus is a master healing plant but does not only suppress the symptoms of ill-being. It goes to the source. And to do this, it invites us to participate fully in the process.

This ceremony with Huachuma will change your perspective and develop your intuition. It is also followed by a specific workshop on Shamanic stats of Presence and Perception used to heal, oneself and others.

The guardian spirits of this plant, the Jaguar and the Hummingbird, have been guiding Native American healers for centuries and will be present with us.

THE PATH OF THE HEART

STATES OF SHAMANIC PRESENCE & PERCEPTION

PRESENCE:

We hear a lot about ‘presence’ in the movement of ‘mindfulness’, but also and especially in the context of energy medicine or helping others: we then refer to ‘therapeutic presence’.

In fact, our modern or Western definition of this ‘presence’ is incomplete and often erroneous.
Is there an easy and effective way to create an inner field of mindfulness? Can this ‘Presence’ help to create, in a therapeutic context, a reassuring sense for the patient and the practitioner. Can this Presence also encourage or even catalyze the self-healing phenomena of oneself and the other?

The study and practice of ancestral medicine in a ceremonial and ritual context reveal unexpected answers to these questions. Answers that go far beyond the simplified vision that classical scientific or psychoanalytical research presents today. And remarkably useful answers to any energy medicine.

PERCEPTION :

The role of ‘curanderos’, these women-medicine (and men) of all cultures and all times, is to ‘travel’ between worlds of different realities, the worlds of the Spirit and the world of Nature. The purpose of this trip is to enable the healing of evils.
To do this, these shamans ‘modify’ their perception. They enter the realm of vision that we call ‘altered’, and they call them ‘true and full’.

They invite us to consider that our basic perception, limited to our sensory experience, is incomplete. They also suggest that the return to ‘expanded’ perception is infinitely more ‘capable’ of producing true transformations and healings. Presence and Perception are the true pillars of our ability to change ourselves and others.

Today, it is no longer necessary to spend decades of study in the Amazonian forest or in the Siberian steppes so as to integrate what traditional medicines have always practiced. We are, in the Western world, finally ready to receive, and beyond, ready to remember, our lost abilities to ‘dream the harmony of the world in the making’.

THE BENEFITS
This workshop day is just after a practical experience of traditional medicine to illustrate and complete this experience with simple and powerful tools. It is intended for all audiences, presented in plain language and engaging all aspects of the person. On the other hand, for therapists of alternative medicine, energy or having a clinical practice related to psychology, this day will also be an opportunity to integrate new tools of reading and relationship to the other, integrating perfectly into n any clinical situation.

GRATITUDE

  1. I am deeply grateful to all the guardians and teachers of traditional wisdom who crossed my path and encouraged me to share it with others.
  2. My passion is to share the gifts gathered on the path of consciousness. All the practices presented here reveal our connection to Earth, Nature, the Other, and the Great Spirit that lives in each of us.
    With humility. Frédéric
